Wow, yesterday was crazy! I taught a viola lesson in the morning to one of my two students, and practiced before spending 3 and a half hours up at UTA! (this picture is actually from last year, but I just wanted to use a picture) I had a lesson with Cathy from 2-3, and then practiced until our viola quartet practice from 4-5:30. We're playing the York-Bowen for UTA solo and ensemble next saturday. I don't feel like we're ready for it at all. It's a really long piece and we haven't been working that long on it for it's difficulty and length. Though we do have another practice this week, and hopefully we'll all work on our parts. I'm so excited for conference today! Yesterday I got to watch most of the morning session, but that's it. It will be awesome.

See... this is exactly why you are an amazing viola-ist (what is the word for that?). I would have never had the drive to practice that much.
