Today was my last Sunday in church before leaving for BYU. I said lots of goodbyes to various ward members and to my close friends. It's weird starting later than everyone else. Margaret started last week at TCU, Malcolm starts Monday at UTA, and Katie Williams starts Tuesday at TCC. How crazy is it that 3 out of 7 kids in our ward my age are staying here. Carter Ellis is leaving for his mission this week, Matt Baker is at BYU-Idaho, and Brewer and I are going to BYU-Provo. So anyways, it was kinda sad. Katie Williams said she'll come visit me sometime in October or November (I told her she has to visit me since she visited David Allen and Brian Grimmett when they went to BYU). It is hard leaving Margaret, but at the same time, I am kind of comforted that she will always be here when I come home. We plan to talk at least every Sunday evening to keep in contact. We are now taking the belongings of SEVEN people (including me) to BYU. Crazy. But we definately have the room for it in our monster 28' moving truck. haha. Well, this is when this blog will come in handy for me, because now I'll be gone but we can all still keep up with each other. So I will try my best to keep this updated, and I hope you all do the same. I love y'all!!!

I am so excited for you. You are going to have an incredible time during the next few weeks and months. Just remember we all love you and miss you... but are so happy for you. ENJOY IT! Because at times it will seem so difficult and overwhelming, but really I think it's just preparing you for life. Because it doesn't go away when you're not in college - it just gets more complicated. So work hard... but have FUN!
How was the moving in and meeting your roommate? Did you sleep there last night (Tuesday)? Have you unpacked and set up your room yet? I can't wait to hear all about it...
I too am so excited for you. You are going to have many life-altering experiences that are going to mold you into the woman, wife, and mother that you will become. Make sure that you keep mom and dad's voice in your head and the prophet's voice in your heart and then you will find yourself closer to the Savior and happier than you have ever been.
