Well, I didn't get to go to that bonfire last night, because I told myself I had to finish reading these two chapters for music civ. and I did finally finish. I went to a study session put on by the TA's yesterday in preparation for the midterm in civ, and omg. Before I was stressed because there's so much to cover and I didn't know what we'd be tested over. Now, I'm stressed because I do know what will be covered. It's rediculous! In our book we have a TON of artwork and architecture that we have to know the name of the art with the artist for the Testing center exam, and we have to be able to tell the period of other art (that we've never seen before) by the characteristics from the artwork we have studied for the ID exam. We also have this other book of musical selections that will be played (30-60 seconds) during the ID exam and we have to tell who wrote it and the name. Then for the testing center exam, aside of the artwork, we have to be able to tell from literary selections who wrote it and what it's called, all the history (the chapters are really really long and in depth). It's more like 2 or 3 classes in one. We are going to die! I am trying to be positive about it, but we just found out on Saturday what we're actually supposed to be studying, and the test starts Wednesday. That gave me THREE days to actually study! Now I only have 2 (ish. I don't have to take the testing center exam on wednesday). Anyways, I tried to also get caught up on BOM yesterday because we have our midterm this week as well. We have this "packet" (more like a huge book bound by spiral), that has quotes and questions that we're supposed to go through with our reading, but it takes some time, and I have more demanding studying and assignments, so I get behind. luckily I'm only a few chapters behind now, but ya. Andrea's post was very inspiring. This week is very overwhelming and stressful and it hasn't even begun yet. But I am going to try and lengthen my stride so I can handle it. We'll see how it goes...

Wow. You can do it, though! It is good to hear that you are still taking little breaks away from studying to do fun things. That really is important. It will refresh you and make your studying more productive.
Work as though everything depends on you and pray as though everything depends on the Lord.
Love ya
